On 23 October 2025, the big day arrived: the launch of Citizens! It was a special moment that took place at the head office in Antwerp, where we toasted to a new chapter in digital collaboration. For the first time, all the founders and employees of AGConsult, Faceworks, Online Department, Thinline and Your Business Online came together – the agencies that form the heart of Citizens.
More than 70 colleagues gathered with a shared belief in the future. From the moment everyone walked in, there was a palpable energy. No awkward silences – on the contrary, the connection was immediate. The atmosphere was open, ambitious and full of interest in each other. The culture at Citizens turned out to be exactly what we hoped for: personal, entrepreneurial, hard-working and down-to-earth.
Jan and Nathan kicked off the day with an inspiring welcome speech, followed by breakout workshops. The sessions were all about connecting, exchanging ideas and experiences, and exploring our shared passion: digital innovation – viewed from different angles.
The workshops were diverse and dynamic. Each group consisted of a mix of UX experts, developers, strategists, creatives, advertising and AI specialists, which led to fascinating discussions and surprising insights. We didn't come together to discuss structures, but to build trust. To feel that we can achieve much more together than we can separately.
The day ended with drinks and, of course, delicious food – just as it should be. 23 October 2025 marks the day Citizens was truly born. A day to look back on with pride and to continue building a future full of collaboration, creativity and digital ambition with renewed energy.
